Pot of Gold: Our local river, the Motueka, is a nationally significant year-round fishery.  With great riffles, runs and pools, it holds one of the greatest densities of fish of any NZ river.  In Fall- Autumn, we get some great mayfly hatches.  In May & September the fishing is good too.
