In New Zealand, we use two flies - a black one and a brown one!

Rene Vaz of Manic Tackle Project says: Slim, tanned and handsome.  This little guy has a surprising amount of weight with very little resistance in the water to hinder it's sink rate, making it a perfect little pattern for working deep runs.  The copper tungsten bead is hidden in the thorax and being tied with no flash or tinsel these patterns are a must for any NZ trout angler.
